Hello! Selling this lovely Xerxes I got in the beginning of the year. Great knife, nothing wrong with it. Just have too many knives and need to sell some. I am at least the 4th owner that I know of.

They existed at the same time copper was cheaper for some reason, they were exactly the same other than ferrule material.
 
My memory was the first run had copper furniture, and the second run had puddle iron, so this may be a first press!
First run was just copper, second run offered both copper and puddle iron options. The iron was around $500 whereas the copper was around $375, if memory serves correct.
Amazing knives, took a sweet toothy edge
 
Mine takes an edge I really really like. Off an aizu, you can get tons of tooth and keep it thanks to the thin edge and hard steel. A good heat treat is one of the few parts of a knife you can’t fine tune at home, and Jannis did a great job with this run.
