Selling this lightly used Y. Tanaka JNS 240 – from Dec 2019. Super thin behind the edge with a decent spine and 54.6mm heel height!

3.4mm at the handle tapering to around 2mm mid blade then a thin tip. The grind on these ghosts through everything – it cuts not cracks.
Sharpened once and I slightly scuffed a bit of the core on one side – patina will cover it. I have treated the handle with Tung oil and removed the patina with an Uchi finger stone so you can see the underlining steel condition – and you get to have the fun of setting your own patina! – here is what you can look forward to.
