I have a bnib Yoshikazu Tanaka Damascus clade white #1 gyuto. This is a beauty and I was excited to try Tanaka's white #1 vs. Blue #1, but it feels like a waste one as the only sub 230mm knives I reach for are my 216mm Wakui or beater knives:

Measurements: 203.2mm x 50.9mm
Weight: 183g
Handle: dyed curly mango, I forget the spacer material, but I believe it is a black micarta
HRC: 63-64

Price: $360.00 CONUS
For comparison, this same blade with no handle is up for $404.00 after coupon at Tokushu.

I'm afraid I do not know who the sharpener is, so I don't want to speculate without certainty. It does have a different grind than on my Tanaka from JNS.
