Like knew condition except I did wash and oil the handle. Knife does have some of the wood shrinkage common with this line but it’s not too bad. I almost kept it in spite of the flaw but found another one with just slightly less of an issue. Great knife if you’re not overly obsessive like I am. Paid $200, asking $150 $125 shipped CONUS.

Good steel, but as you note, the blackwood does present maintenance issues. I have 5-6 of them (gen.1)

FYI to all interested, I stand mine in warmed
mineral oil for 2-3 days about every 6 months (then once a year.) I have not had any shrinkage issues (with the knives 😎)

Thanks for the tip. I’ll make sure to give that a try on the ones I kept (also grabbed a paring knife).
