This little bunka began life as a 230mm honyaki gyuto....and well, it had other plans. So after some re-profiling, this is what it has become. The geometry is very thin, and the blade is essentially zero-ground. It should be a nice little performer all around.

- Blade: 145mmx52mm SheffCut (64-65 HRC) 320 grit hand finish
- Neck: 16mmx17mm
- Handle: 132mm long, 19mmx22mm tapering to 17mmx19mm- Oil finished cherry
- POB: 28mm from the hande (where the M and S join in the MM)
- Spine: 3.0mm at the neck, 2.7mm at halfway, .86mm 1cm from the tip
- Grind: flat to convex, right hand bias
- Weight: 118g
- Relieved choil and spine
- Edge: .15mm@1mm, .27mm@2mm, .53mm@5mm, .8mm@10mm Measured at the midpoint.
