$100 shipped sold
183mm edge
54mm tall
10.7mm thick
384 g
Bevels is evened except shallow low spot at heel. Jnat medium grit fingerstone finish. Ura is very flat. . . Which is frankly rare and a miracle because goddang are deba a pain to straighten. Ura lies very flat heel to tip. Broke a sweat trying to bend it, and set the uraoshi. Feels like white steel, slightly harder than nata, maybe a little softer than Ashi regular white. Great edge taking and hair catching. Iron is very soft and a pleasure to sharpen, one of my favorites I've ever sharpened. Burrs on spine and choil still from rough grinding from when it was made. The nicest deba I've owned. Horizontal grind marks and high polish on the ura, so lots of attention went into it by the sharpener in Sakai. Chip on the bottom of the blonde ferrule. Chips and pitting on the edge. Tiniest delam on ura lamination line. Very tip is chipped off
