The first out of two up, a 225mm Shihan “Banded” A2 gyuto. Don’t think I really need to explain much, y’all know the drill. This one is from after Forty started apprenticing under Shihan, so the knife is not etched to shizz, and you can very clearly see the banding.

Next up is a 210mm Morihei Hisamoto Tsuchime Gyuto. Grabbed this a couple years ago, back when these were still in a drought. Then I slapped on some ironwood burl on for the scales and had Forty fix and get rid of all the wabisabi, spine and choil rounded and polished. It has a “working” finish now, similar to the finish he did on the Sugi x TF collab blades. This is gonna be a really really good deal.
