Letting go a few knives that I’m not using much. A few notes:
  • Prices DO NOT include shipping. Please consider a $25 flat fee to anywhere. I’m in Brazil and the actual cost is ˜$50 (express DHL or UPS). I figured this was the best way to go given my location and I tried to price them fairly to compensate. Buy more than one knife and you have a great deal
  • I’ll give a 5% discount for fee-less payment methods (TransferWise, etc). I can point out other members that have dealt with me here since 2017 for reference check. Otherwise, PayPal G&S
  • Open to trades, specially anything Gengetsu, 165 nakiris and Misono 440 180 slicer

1. Gesshin Ittetsu 270 gyuto
$550 + shipp.

[pics in post below]

Second owner. Initial sharpening by Jon and later stropped once by me on a BBW. Used very lightly at home a handful of times, same with the previous owner. Like-new condition. Part of me hopes this doesn’t sell :)

261 x 54mm
189g
with original box

2. Toyama 150mm petty (SS-clad)
SOLD SOLD SOLD
$250 + shipp.

[pics in post below]

Got it new from JNS. Used once to cut some fruit. Never sharpened. I sanded a bit and oiled the handle so I’d say it’s better than BNIB :). According to Maksim, Mr Toyama is not producing these anymore.

150 x 35mm
85g
with original box

3. Toyama 135 Mukimono
$230 + shipp.

[pics in post below]

124 x 24mm
80g

Second owner. Sharpened once by previous owner. I gave it a SPA treatment and almost flattened the bevel (about 90%… stopped when I figured I wouldn’t use it much). Finish is not super refined or perfect but it’s better than stock.

4. Toyama 300 yanagiba SOLD SOLD SOLD
$225 + shipp.

Second owner. Previous owner used it a lot in pro kitchens and sharpened several times. I did a quick refinish on the blade, handle and saya. Has some pitting marks on the ura but superficial and stable. Used but with lots of life ahead.

287 x 34mm
221g
with saya

5. Toyama 210 nakiri (SS-clad)
$415 + shipp.

Got it new from JNS and used twice at home. Factory edge. Absolute veggie slayed, but I keep reaching for a gyuto instead (not a rectangle guy after all...).

204 x 64mm
275g
With original box

Those mukimono are seriously stellar little knives. I miss mine a lot. And I just picked up a toyama nakiri and it is such a slayer. Grind and steel treatment are hard to beat
I got the Muki from you! lol. They are awesome and very practical. Its a shame I'm just too practical and grab a cheap paring instead...
