I am looking at getting another 270, but want it to be a great one, so I am curious to know which 270 you reach for the most?

Is your favorite 240 maker also your favorite 270?

Should they be the same, or do you look for a more stout 270, vs an anorexic 240?
 
I tend to reach for my Hiromoto AS 270. It's a wonderful knife but the cladding makes it a tad too thick for very delicate tasks. I belive, however, that the thinner and more laser-like knife I'm looking for should be shorter.
 
My one and only gyuto that I use is Ichimonji TKC 270. It has a choi regrind like the FH and handle that mimicks the FH curved handle. Thin but the steel takes good abuse without much chipping.
