SOLD 4x5 Chamonix 45H-1 kit

This one hurts a bit but I don’t have much time in my life for the kind of photography I like to do anymore, and it’s time to move things on.

4x5 Chamonix 45H-1 kit with Fujinon CM W 210mm f/5.6, Manfrotto 190XDB tripod with 410 Junior geared head, & Crumpler Proper Roady Full Backpack.

Kit includes:

• New Chamonix 45H-1 (teak).
• New Chamonix Fresnel screen upgrade.
• New Chamonix 4X5 folding viewer with carbon fibre cover upgrade.
• New Chamonix camera carry bag.
• Like New Fujinon CM W 210mm f/5.6 with end caps and lens board.
• Manfrotto 190XDB tripod with 410 Junior geared head with carry bag in used but very good condition.
• New Tripod Quick Release mount.
• Crumpler Proper Roady Full Backpack in used but very good condition.
• I have a few boxes of expired and untested 4x5 sheet film that I will throw in for free, as I’m not able to verify their condition.

This kit sadly has not been outside of my house or seen any real use, as life has been too busy over the last few years for the joys of large format photography.

If you are interested in this listing, you likely know what you’re looking at but just in case, I bought this set up for its versatility in shooting both normal/wide angle landscapes and close up portraits, fast set up and pack down (for a field camera!), and excellent build quality.

The Crumpler backpack included comfortably carries the whole kit, with space for some extra bits and pieces.

It would be hard to find a better 4x5 landscape or documentary field photography set up in my opinion.

cool stuff. I got to play around with large format cameras in college, so fun. 4x5 and 8x10. You haven't lived until you've exposed an 8x10 negative and print it out 30"x40"ish. GLWS

I always tested exposure and focus with a Polaroid back, but even those weren’t cheap per shot.
