Sold

46 g
75mm long
35mm heel
42mm tip height (vertical distance relative to the spine at heel, parallel to handle)
2.5mm spine

One of the less common peeling knife shapes in Japan. More common ones are mukimono, kawamuki. It's a type of kawamuki but with a special spine curve and edge tilt relative to the handle. Ghosts through produce, and great and peeling in hand. Nail flexing thin

Copper ring inside handle.
Slight left bias, slightly more prominent left shoulders.
Steel is good and tough, more on the aggressive side of white steel, not necessarily the most refined
Low spot on right side
Small chip at tip
Tip is.... I'm scared of it

I don’t know what it’s for or what I’d do with it, but I am strangely attracted to it. Very cool knife, as always. Someone will cherish this I’m sure
