!!!SOLD!!!CarbonKnifeCO: Tetsujin Kasumi 240mm w/ Slim Ebony Paid $475 plus the cost of slim mono ebony handle; Looking to sell for $400 PayPal and Ship included in the CONUS. International pays for shipping, I pay $15 you pay the rest.
I have only used once on non acidic veggies, and have sharpened once on Mikawa Nagura. Nice cutting performance. Cleanest Kasumi finish I have seen vs others, almost symmetrical on both sides.
!!!SOLD!!!Brand new! CarbonKnifeCO: Wakui Nashiji Stainless clad 240mm w/ Burnt Chestnut (link not avail since CKC removed knife from the page) Looking to sell for $250 PayPal and Ship included in the CONUS. International pays for shipping, I pay $15 you pay the rest.
Brand new. Knowing Wakui, he makes fantastic knives, which he is famed for, and the price will keep on increasing since it has already, is the reason why I grabbed in the first place. But unfortunately I don't think I'll be using it. Silly of me catch and release. You will not regret this for sure. Only thing you'll notice are my fingerprints on the knife heh. I'll wipe with tsubaki before shipping out. I am tempted to use it tho haha.
JKI Tangetsu Blue #1 270mm w/ Burnt Chestnut Paid $850 total, $775 for the knife, plus an additional $75 for the handle. Looking to sell for *Final price drop* $500 PayPal and Ship included in the CONUS. International pays for shipping, I pay $15 you pay the rest.
Dang smexy knife and good cutting feels. Similar to Kagekiyo BUT with a bit of heft behind the edge. It's still thin but not too thin! You can use this in a professional setting in my opinion. I have sharpened this once on Mikawa Nagura. Unfortunately as much as I like to know who the sharpener is behind this line. He's 3rd generation, a young sharpener and whoever he is, he does a good job with this one, You will not be disappointed! The feeling with this blue #1 feels more on Y.Tanaka side of steel, and my guess is that it is. I have used this a few times on veggies and meats, WHOOOOWHEEE such a fun knife! I have a ShiHan that I used more often *sniffles sniffles*. It got some nice patinas too!
256mm (10.1in) 52.7mm heel height
3.17mm out of handle
2.98mm above heel
2.15mm at mid
0.81mm 1cm away from tip
