SOLD Alex Horn 180 Gyuto

Hi KKF,

Posting a duo from Alex Horn for sale. One from his recent work on his own and one as a Muteki under Carter. Both are on the thinner side, however the newer western handled knife has a good bit of stiffness to the blade despite being thin.

First up is his Western handled short gyuto. I like the knife, but it’s just not working into my normal usage rotation. It has a belt finish from Alex and Wanted to call out some swirls on the blade from removing patina. Specs are 183x46, 132g. I had previously listed this knife here.

Second up is a wa handled San mai Muteki blade with his makers mark stamped on it. This thing is laser all the way and wild to see a core between two outer layers still this thin. I don’t have a ton of detail on the steel with this one other than stainless over carbon. This did suffer some tip damage during shipping. I tried to straighten it out best I could, but it isn’t perfect. Specs on this one are - 198x50, 126g.

I paid about $600 for the pair - let’s go with $425 $400 shipped to US/Canada. DM for international.
