Hey folks, one more putting up today, a really nice Alex Horn recent work piece. It's 210mm, nice thin grind, and seen no sharpening only stropping. Nice light patina starting on the very lightly reactive A203 and can see some banding too. See photos. Great example of 52100 under stainless for all around use. I have a bunch of Alex's work and it's all really good - this is no exception.
Paid $799 from District Cutlery, here:Alex Horn Gyuto Chef Knife - Blue Maple 8.125" 52100
plus added a nice walnut saya. Only owner. Asking $750 CONUS or $780 Int'l.

IMO Alex Horn is one of the most talented makers working today. I have several of his knives including two on my “daily users” knife strips. Several in backup and a custom enroute. I am sure any new owner will find this knife a favourite in hand and on the boards. Definitely an A+ knife from an A+ seller.

Thanks, Brian. And I agree with your thoughts on this!

I had this knife in my cart at District for literally months hoping that they would run a seasonal promotion or release a coupon code.
I know. I broke down and grabbed it - glad I did as it fueled a couple more knives from Alex! I have a dammy from him in this size, so moving this one since they are 5mm difference in length.

Agree! You turned me on to him and I got one of his Muteki knives before he went on his own. I then got one of his early pieces. Both are used frequently.
