$95 shipped
2124 g
225 mm x 59mm wide x 65mm tall
Around 1.5-2k grit. Scratches the iron much deeper than the steel, but grit rating is me comparing it to cerax 1k and 3k. It's between those
Really enjoyable to use, my favorite feedback on an aoto so far
A chip on the stone surface that catches, but will be worn away with use. Still, it's annoying. Can't feel the cracks near the corner in use.
Pressure control is very doable
Medium hardness, a bit harder than the other aoto that sold
Red spots sesame
Slightly harder and finer and slower dishing and slower cutting than the previous aoto I sold. Depends on personal preference. The other aoto is cleaner.
I had owned a kouzaki aoto from iida tool I bought for $230 that was similar to this in feel but coarser. This aoto feels nicer in use and edge.
