Cleaver grind details:
There's a convex transition to a flat grind that covers the final 3/4 of an inch. That is the case for both the heel and tip.

I found that Guy on bladeforums after he had sold another on the makers' BST forums. He had made one almost just like that, different materials. Nordquist Designs is one of his favorite makers and you can see the influence on that. Coincidentally, like crazy coincidentally, I owned the Nordquist that he was basing the design and scheme off of. I never showed him my knife or talked about it even. Pure serendipity, probably shouldn't have sold it but I have too many. This was a kid from Latvia, early 20s. He knew his stuff and seems to be brimming with talent. I wouldn't be surprised if he's apprenticing under someone and working under a different banner.

Well, If you like his, one of his inspirations is Nordquist Designs. They're more expensive, but the performance is upgraded too.
