For sale is a JNS Special Polish Tanaka gyuto.
Details:
Only pulled out of the box to check out. Never used.
Handle Length- 145mm
Hell to Tip Length- 230mm
Blade Height at Heel- 50mm
Width of Spine at Handle- 3,4mm
Width of Spine Above Heel- 2mm
Width of Spine at Middle- 1,5mm
Width of Spine 1cm from the tip- 1mm
Weight of entire knife: 181g (handle is on the light side)
Great balance around the pinch area

Reason for selling:
Right after I bought it, I had the chance to acquire 3 Hitohira Tanaka Damascus knives (Kambei, Kyuzo, Yohei), as well as a JNS Kato
They somewhat broke the bank. Have to sell it to replenish my ammo.
Main selling points:
(1) Blade polished, bevel flattened, very easy to refinish
(2) Rounded spine and choil,
(3) Handle Upgrade to Burned Octagonal Chestnut
(4) Signed Kiri box
(5) Special Damascus pattern, esp the parallel part around the spine much like that of a single bevel damascus knife
Price:
(1) Price: selling for $675 (10% off the original $740).
(2) Can make it $635 if can replace the Kiri box with a regular box.
(3) I will offer free shipping (costs me ~$50 to ship to CONUS, and $70 to Australia). Shipping out of Hong Kong / Shanghai via UPS, should arrive in most countries in a week
