Edge has never been on a cutting board, doesn't even know what vegetables are. I hope it will go to a good home with an owner who will teach it the ways of vegetable destruction.

Speaking with a couple stores, looks like it will be many many months before vendors get another shipment from Shigefusa, so this one won't be coming on the market any time soon (especially after the large drop this past fall).
I've priced the knife at $2.3/mm to reflect the current situation, but that's still well within the going rates published by The Shiglord (box and whisker plot of price per mm for kurouchi (D) double bevels - also attached).
