I have my Suehiro 1000 cerax and Suehiro 3000 Oaka permasoaking. That way I can use the stones at my convenience, without waiting.

I also just bought Naniwa A-206 Nagura Dressing Stone, 600 Grit and was wondering if I can permasoak the dressing stone as well, or will it fall apart?

By the way: it doesn't contaminate finer stones. Only lower ones, say from Naniwa Pro 400 and beyond, but then it doesn't matter. Have used it with a Naniwa Junpaku 8k.

Thank you and that makes since.

As for Naniwa Junpaku 8k, I don't own it unfortunately. I heard it's a great stone.

Ive used this nagura on the chosera 600 and pro400.
I didn't like it.

I just lapped both stones with SiC powder to give them their original coarseness back.
Only to find out that this nagura smooths out the surface of my stones, leaving them slick/glazed again.
