Hi,

Up for sale a 3mm+ copper-tin pot and a chefs choice 2100 sharpener. I am selling these, as we are down sizing and we are just moving through some of our stuff.

Pot

It is made in France! It is extremely well made, you can pass on couple generations easily. 22cm with a thick 3mm+ . Recently tinned and i have only used twice after that.

Price: $225 including shipping in CONUS.

Chef’s Choice Knife Sharpener 2100

Gently used (less than 10 times) and in excellent condition. Note: Comes with a European plug (220-240V), so be ready with an adapter or converter if needed.
I think you would need a 150 watt something small.

Price: $295 including shipping in CONUS.

I will upload the photos later today.

Thats not a saucier, thats a pot. I would suggest stating the volume of the pot. I find it easiest to measure volume by weighing how much water it holds.
That’s a sauce pan

Firstly what does a gallon of water weigh?
I spent a lovely summer in town in Normandy where they made such gorgeous things - this one is very nice, good handle and hefty rivets. They had a workaround for induction cookers which was a metal plate to sit between the two.

A sort of rough transition may be God's City of Pots :)

As a side note:
  1. Villedieu-les-Poêles
Villedieu-les-Poêles is a former commune in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Villedieu-les-Poêles-Rouffigny.Its inhabitants are called Sourdins from the French sourd meaning deaf. Most of the people involved in the manufacturing of copper pans, which involved repeated hammering, became deaf.

there was a brasserie which sold excellent andouillette and a market once a week with the local farmers and small producers.

So, there you have it.
