I see that the site that can not be named has some Doi #2 270 yanagiba

I have 2 question

1) are Keijiro doi's really that good?
2) can anyone tell me that's definitely by the father and not the son?

Thanks

1) Yes :nunchucks: Look up Suisin Hayate line for his premium work with Susan
2) James of K&S told me once, without taking the handle off the knife, there is no way to tell. So you have to go by Seller's words.

yeah the other ones At the other site were Sakai Takayuki.. so i'm not sure if they are as good and if it's done by the dad

Polish is not as good Suisin Hayate line. Forging, words were that Suisin Hayate has Doi's nod being is best work. Takayuki version is a lot more economical though, probably very closely comparable to Hayate light line at one point.

FYI :)

left: itsuo; right: keijiro

the tip is unique to each other so yeah that is the only way I know to distinguish between them.

For the Hayate knives, the yellow stamp under the name means it was made by the son.
