Looking to add another gyuto in the 225-270 range. Don’t have much in the way of cash but stones I can spoil you with. Not expecting anything but nothing ventured nothing gained.

Interested primarily in BNIB or very close there to Yanick's / newer Milan wrought stuff (big bonus points for anything from the deep etched line). But will entertain Shig gyuto offers and other Japanese unicorn offerings too. Stuff like this handsawn Okudo renge suita is directionally what I’m thinking.

Bump - adding my very gently used Kippington 260 laser pony to the trade bait list (cash can go either way dependent). Probably the best knife I have in objective terms but I’m a wanton polishing masochist and my knives usually reflect that proclivity.

Mainly, but not exclusively, looking for:
Yanick
Raquin 145sc / wrought
Milan wrought
HF larger gyuto
The 9
Kamon
Other nice wrought stuff
Japanese unicorns

The yanick nakiri I just saw reminded me of this post…

Still have some crazy stuff i could be tempted to trade for the right offer:
• Okudo tenjyou suita
• really nice uchigumori
• nice slab of wagyu
• etc

Really cool looking stone. What did you buy it for? And what would be the trade value? Just wanted to know if the link was the purchase price.

On the Okudo linked above, me & that shop are one and the same. So yeah, guess that'd be the trade value there. But just like some people are willing to pay hefty premiums for desirable knives I'm happy to trade a stone with higher value than the knife's retail value.

Kind of you to be open about this. They really are impressive stones!
