A small batch of Exceptional "Private Stash" blocks are now in the store at [url]www.BurlSource.us[/URL].
These are pieces that I am selling for a knife maker/friend. Over the years he has built up a private stash of high quality figured woods that can be very difficult to find anymore. A couple times a year he will send me a box of pieces from his private stash to sell.
All of these pieces were collected several years ago. Many of the blocks will still have id and notes to himself written on the edges. I have not sanded or cleaned these up but left them as I received them. I have labeled them with a stock number and wood id. While they look good now, they will look really good once you shape, sand and finish them.
The prices will be a bit higher than you are accustomed to seeing. But when you take a close look at the individual photos the reason why should become obvious.
