Of course nobody likes polishing soft stainless cladding, but those of us that like polishing knives eventually takes them to stones. Synth, jnat, whatever. What do like to finish on?

I find it’s a real ******* to get smooth and clean on. Takeda’s “very soft” Hideriyama and an old soft blue asagi have made me feel better about it. There’s a bit of a sweet spot at low muddy finisher. When I go higher it turns into a smeary mess. In terms of texture and release I find it plenty good enough.

Haven’t done much polishing on synth with them, but I’m sure you could take it up tight and high and it should respond accordingly?

Permasoaked Gesshin 6k resinoid is usually what I default to, then just a finishing natural stone to microbevel
