Hi all,

Selling a Fingal Ferguson western style chef knife, if you’re Irish like me, he is fairly well known.

This is an 8 inch euro style chef knife, 14C28N stainless steel and the handle is a lovely stabilised spalted poplar burl.

It didn’t come with a particularly great edge, so I used it briefly and then sharpened it once on a Shapton pro 1k, I’ve not used it much since so it still has working edge. Overall lightly used. Fit and Finish is great.

I paid €370 (£310) and I’d like to get £300. Free shipping to UK or Europe and I will cover the first £10 worldwide or to US - which is generally c£20 total.

FF gets very little coverage here, which is a shame — he’s the maker that introduced me to Western knives. I love his handle design, and he’s an extremely talented blacksmith. He, Ben Kamon and Tobias Hangler did a collab for charity a few months ago. No intention of selling either of mine.

Great guy as well — cousin of a friend of mine. If you haven’t tried his work, this is an excellent opportunity.
