First Ever Blade & Edge Knife Making Competition

We're hosting the first ever Blade & Edge Knife Making Competition, and we're super excited to invite any knife makers to submit their entries! This year the competition is sponsored by AmeriBrade and Knifemaker Direct (see below for prizes)

Theme: "The Final Frontier", to be interpreted however you like
Competition opens: March 1st
Competition closes: April 1st

1st Prize:
- Rotary Platen + accessory arm from AmeriBrade
- Knife steel bundle from Knifemaker direct
- More prizes coming!

Me too, it's an amazing tool! Don't know what I was doing before find it...probably making really terrible knives.

Yes, the whole thing is being organized by the Knife Making For Beginners FB group, so being on Facebook is a requirement, since most of the announcements about the competition will be made in the group.

And we just found out that the one and only Mareko Maumasi will be joining us as a judge...that hasn't been officially announced yet but you heard it here first!
