Forged Nakiri with charred Purple Heart

I always like to have a nakiri in my kitchen, and everytime one leaves the workshop, I think about making another. Heavily forged, charred Purple heart, and some funky ebony. A pretty tasty combo, so thought I would share. If you know anything about forging, its clear that the cross pein is my favourite hammer for stretching steel. Let me know your thoughts if you have some. Hayden.

Thanks! Adding some contrast with the char, and just having a glimpse of the purple is something I prefer more than all purple.
