A few personal unicorns have popped up, so time to dangle some heat until I’ve recouped the funds I need, after which point I’ll withdraw the rest for sale as I don't actually want to sell any of them...
Measurements for edge length and height are taken to the best of my ability, but I don’t have digital calipers so please don’t come after me for a .5mm discrepancy! I've used the original web page specs for spine width because measuring that with tape is a great way to slice your hand open.
Shipping cost dependent on location - i'll eat half if we've made previous transactions.
I have zero business sense, so I will also consider cool trades... ha.
The Knives
£470 - Miura Yoshikazu Tanaka Aogami Super (iron clad) 240:
- 234g
- 51mm heel height
- 229mm edge length
- This one hurts but it is what it is... @ashy2classy your dinner is ready!!
- Used less than 5 times, never sharpened, never stropped.

SOLD: £350 - Migoto Nakagawa W#1 240:
- 209g
- 51mm heel height
- 230mm edge length
- 3mm spine width
- Used a handful of times, sharpened on a progression from 1k once.
WITHDRAWN: £400 - Migoto Tanaka B#1 270:
- 267g
- 51mm heel height
- 253mm edge length
- 3.2mm spine width
- Used but well loved - I have only touched it up on a 4k twice, but am not the first owner. The heel height suggests it has been sharpened very little if at all prior to my ownership.
- I stripped the patina recently with 1k sic powder, which has created the slight hologram effect on the kanji.
- These are now out of production.
WITHDRAWN: Migoto Nakagawa Suminagashi B#1 255:
- 240g
- 55mm heel height
- 240mm edge length
- 3mm spine width
- A rarer (if you're into that kind of thing) full sumingashi version of this knife (which typically comes with KU) sold direct by Lee to a handful of individuals.
- Used a handful of times, touched up on a 4k once, patina refreshed recently with uchi powder and a felt rag.
