Hi all! New to the forum. Came looking for a solution to carbon knife stains of a different sort. I'm not bothered by discoloration on my blades but I am very bothered by the black lines left on my wooden countertop when "someone" cuts lemons for cocktails. It took us a while and many marks to figure out that it was a stain from the carbon knife and acid. Anyone have suggestions on how to remove a carbon/acid stain from a wood counter?

Welcome. May not be what you want to hear but citrus is the reason for having at least one stainless petty.

For another reason, cut an avacado.

On the countertop itself? A cutting-board might prevent that.
