hi.. glad to hv found this forum ( by chance.. incidentally) hv been a silent follower of Martell , the chairman of the board and S Keller on teh other forum and became a knife sharpener ( for money) and since became obsessed with the nice cutting blocks and exceptional knife handles... The extreme level of professionlism, passion and advice so freely given amazes me..
I am still many light years away.. still at the pottering stage in a mini "workshop" sharpening knives and a little woodwork... IFseasoning cutting boards and cleaning adn polishing knife handles falls under that category ..
