Selling some handles that I do not anticipate using / needing. All are top quality, well made and gorgeous wood / horn. No gaps or defects that I can detect. Love them all but they are surplus to need.

- African Blackwood ($75 $70) [SOLD]
- Mun Ebony ($75 $70) [SOLD]
- Amboyna Burl ($70 $60) [WITHDRAWN]

The ebony and blackwood handles are suitable for a 240mm - 270mm gyuto or a larger yanagiba / sujihiki. The amboyna burl handle is shorter and suitable for a Nakiri or 210mm gyuto.

Please feel free to message me if you want precise dimensions or more pictures.

Buyer pays shipping (happy to discuss this is you’re further away). If you buy more than one, reduce the total price by $10 for each additional handle. Any two for $130, three for $190.

Couple of additional pictures uploaded to show the grain of the darker woods.

Want to live these along - will offer a very attractive deal if you take all three. Send me a message / offer!

Additional handles will soon also be available. Ebony / blonde horn, magnolia / black horn and chestnut / black horn all going to be posted ~this week (those ones are from rehandling but have never been used).

If you’re interested in packaging one or more of those with the ones posted here, please get in touch!

It might be helpful for potential buyers if you can give a ballpark shipping estimate to CONUS.
Thanks for the tip.

I would need to confirm the location etc. but, ballpark, if you’re not in a rush (could take a week or two), I am fairly sure that shipping will be 20-30USD depending on how many handles (total weight).

A small flat-rate box is only $9.20 if you are shipping CONUS from the US and it will fit all 3 handles.

If you are shipping outside the US, consider using Pirateship with the smallest box possible.

Shipping from Australia to wherever it needs to go. I have small boxes (that will fit ample appropriate protection). The rate that I quoted is approx for the US (as requested). Happy to send to Antarctica, the moon, Atlantis … can accommodate hand delivery by Santa Claus if required

Then $20-$30 is a fair shipping quote I would say.

Final call on the Amboyna Burl handle. It’s a beauty. Perfect for a nakiri, bunka, santoku or 210mm gyuto. If I don’t sell it in a few more days, I am minded to give it to a friend.

Last days for the amboyna handle. Reducing price to 55USD plus shipping using PayPal GS (happy to discuss further discount for using a more fee friendly method) … If nobody wants it, I will give it away to a hard working friend who deserves a surprise! I wouldn’t be upset about that.

just don’t forget to buy a handle if you don’t have one. Or hit up your favorite handle maker for a custom one
The remaining handle would be a perfect addition to your new Shindo Nakiri folks! I actually set the dimensions of the handle for it to fit a Shindo nakiri (albeit standard height).

Hooray for the buyer of the darker handles (they’re on their way to you!). Going to withdraw the amboyna and give it away. Thanks for all of the inquiries!
