Hello, although I'm definitely by no means an experienced cook and honestly have no place looking for new kitchen knives, I've been an avid member of the nihontō (traditional Japanese sword) community for years and am now interested in expanding my horizons to include kitchen knives. I'm specifically interested in knives that have a lot of metallurgical activity in them, which is also what I find so fascinating about nihontō. In any case, I'm happy to be a part of this forum!
