Hello everyone & thank you for all the great information I've gotten from this forum. I'm a new member but, I have been reading information from here for a while now. I'm fairly new to nice kitchen knives. I know a bit about pocket knives, hunting knives, different steel types etc. I have quite a few of those. However the only nice kitchen knives I've had until today is a set of Caphalon katana series vg1 knives. Which were kinda okay but not what I expected.
I just received my set of knives from Watanabe today & their beautiful but, I was wondering what the best suggestions are for storage? I would like to store them either on the counter or in a drawer but, I want to be able to grab them with one hand when I need them so a saya won't work.

I like drawer organizers if you have extra drawer space. I have one similar to this. Allows 8 steak/paring small knives okie 7 more as long as your drawer

A lot of folks here use magnetic wall racks. I use a magnetic wooden stand - there’s a ton on Amazon.

This is the one I use but there’s plenty available with all wood construction for much less. Wall racks and drawer storage hold many more knives than a counter stand so you might end up with some combination of storage options.

Welcome and +1 for mag wall storage. Get one with a wood surface - generally more kind on your knife and it’s finish.
