Hi all! I am a home cook who watches way too many cooking shows and appreciates quality kitchen tools. I've been looking to build a personal set of knives for my sole use as the "nice" set I bought when I first got into cooking, some Wusthof Ikon knives, are nice but not super well balanced or fun/comfortable to use for long periods.
I did just get a Sakai Takayuki k-type gyuto as my first foray into nicer Japanese style knives but I'd like to built out my collection more and try to find that one corner piece knife that's my standard go to.
