Hi all, I've lurked here for a while on BST, and I'm excited to finally join. I've been sharpening cheap knives for a decade or so, and I've recently been learning a ton from the Science of Sharp (I'm still very bad, but at least I have a better appreciation for what I'm not doing right). I got my first real knives a couple of months ago (Tojiro Basic gyuto/petty combo from CKTG). I'm interested in continuing to go down the rabbit hole of Japanese knives and dip my toe in the water of carbon steels. I have a couple of King stones (1k and 2k?). I'm excited to stop lurking. Thanks for being such a great forum!
