Looks like a Yoshikane SKD hammered to me, even though the Kanji is different. Maybe it was made by Yoshikane under a different name.

Looks like Yoshikane but not branded as such... this is troubling because I'm trying to sell it but I don't know what to call it..

It could be genuine Yoshikane - my understanding is that there are several makers (different generations?) within Yoshikane and each of the blade smiths may have his own kanji. But I am just guessing here.
