Hello everybody,

My name is Julien, a french guy living in switzerland. I'm 33yo, and i quit my job as quality space engineer beginning of 2022 to become a full time knifemaker.
I forge my own blades in damascus, and/or work stainless steel, and i'm specialized in kitchen knives and tables knives.
I am making as well japanese style as western style knives, but have to say that i'm fascinated by the japanese quality: very sober, yet quite technical to craft,and super efficient to use.
I am willing to improve everyday the quality of my knives so thats why i'm here, getting more and more knowledge.
I hope also i could help some other people, which is the goal of a forum.

Attached is an example of a western style chef knife i forged, triple san-mai with damascus steel, olive wood for the handle :)
