I think the more interesting question is how many people have spreadsheets of their knives…

one more here. It's useful when i compare the specs of a BST post with what i already have (while hoping to just buy time until somebody else buys it).

Same here until I did the math and realized my collection of 12 costs more than some of those 40+ collections. Expensive tastes? Reckless purchases? Who knows. Doesn’t feel good though.

And edit (I should be on topic): I am at 27ish right now. My plan is to get a couple more makers and then do a battle royale and whittle it down to 10ish or at least half it. I like having the collection but it's time consuming managing all of that effectively and I don't want my things owning me.

This spreadsheet talk made me realize I forgot to add my most recent purchase to my spreadsheet. Added it in and realized that it pushed total cost over $10,000 for the first time. Do I win a prize? I mean it is spread over 43 knives...

Didn't show all columns intentionally. Also have condition&issues/modifications/# times sharpened/link where I purchased. Also have separate tabs for sold knives and knives listed for sale.
