Hello there. My name is Josef and I am live in Austin, Texas. I am a home cook and really, really enjoy cooking and have for many years. I also have a thing for tools and knives and I am starting my collection over again. I am about to order my first "nice" knife (in my new collection) and I thought it would be prudent to ask before I purchase. I will do that once approved. I also am interested in sharpening and am really looking forward to that as well.

Hi there. So while waiting for approval, I have already written out my first post looking for a new knife (like many of these posts). However, I went to post and it says I don't have sufficient privilege's. What requirements do I need to meet?

The software just needs to promote you, this should happen within an hour normally. Once that happens you will be able to post in the other sections of the forum.
