Unlike some of you, it isn’t my jam. I’m okay at it. Not great. I don’t do that layer upon layer flaxseed thing. I think it works better on cast iron anyways.
I finally got my new wok. I really wanted a handled one, despite the perfect nonstick performance of my old vessel. I cooked garlic green beans with it and it was so nice being able to move the wok over the serving dish and dumping the food. I can’t do that easily with the other wok. I find it too awkward and hot.
I just burned it in, and burned some oil in it a few times. I’ll cook easy dishes in it initially. Maybe a few deep fries. I anticipate a few “noodle struggles” in the beginning.
Here we go again.
maybe I should buy some PAM cooking spray. Haha.
