This is a really difficult knife for me to let go. I’m the second owner and consider this knife to be a really superior example of Jonas’s work. Further to that I consider his work to be seriously underpriced for the quality received which makes this knife a genuine bargain at my price of $600 shipped and insured in North America.

The knife is made from wrought iron & 15n20 Damascus clad 26c3 steel. The handle is gorgeous and is made from ringed gidgee, moose antler, mammoth tusk. Yikes!

Other specs …

Blade length … 255mm
Edge length … 241mm
Depth at heel … 51mm
Thickness measured at spine … 4.78mm at heel, 2.62mm mid blade, 1.41mm approx. 1” from tip
Weight … 238gms

As the original owner of this I can attest—it is a BADDIE💯
I couldn’t agree more @julestools! Under other circumstances I could see myself to be a collector of multiple examples of Jonas’s work … BUT … I can’t collect everything by every great maker, so I have to make choices. I will say this, though, and that is that I have many other more expensive knives that don’t offer the quality of f&f and cutting performance of this one. It’s a winner and I will be very happy for the person who picks it up.

Gorgeous piece at a great price!! Congrats on using it as well, we see too many collectors that have never put any of their blades to work!
