Selling some natural finishers because I’m just not into polishing, I’ve tried. So I’m sticking to edge stones and don’t have to be so persnickety about it, might as well pass these on to someone who can benefit from the nuance! I haven’t sold stones much on here so please let me know if you’d like any other shots or measurements.

Mizukihara suita, 208x75x30. Sides lacquered, both sharpening faces usable. Can’t feel the lines. Very evenly shaped. $350

Ohira karasu. The light patches are part of the stone, not some sort of repair! They don’t leave scratches and this gives the best edge of the lot. Mounted to a base and not sealed. Longest dimension is max 210mm min 190mm through the middle, 150-160mm at the sides. 83mm wide, 17mm thick. $290

Nakayama, I don’t know the rest of the descriptors. This was my first jnat and is still one of the best; got it 5 years ago from one of the big polishing guys, nutmeg or badger tooth or someone who is way more of an expert. Mounted and lacquered on the sides. 205x57x17mm, $250

Any picture of the finish that Nakayama it leaves and the hardness level?

Well like I said I never got the hang of polishing and have given up on that, so I don’t have any knives with a good finish to start with. I just tried it on a knife, you can see that the earlier grit scratches were not removed beforehand but there’s a nice shininess on top of it now. Hope that is somewhat helpful? I’d say it’s medium hard; it makes swarf without a nagura or slurry plate, but not mud. Harder than most jnats I’ve used but not as hard as something like a Roszsutec or Welsh razor stone.

added second picture to try and show the reflectivity

Nakayama is withdrawn, I’ve messed it up somehow with a diamond plate trying to mess with slurry to try and get a polish pic. Not sure if I just need to resurface or if I’ve uncovered something scratchy in the stone itself. Other two still available
