I had an Asian lady friend who made amazing sushi. When I suggested that her sushi making might be easier/better if she had a proper Yanigaba she researched what was available and picked out this Kitaoka 210mm Yanigaba. I bought it for her as a gift but she departed for places unknown before that happened so here it is on BST.
It’s a single edged Yanigaba with a Blue 2 core steel, soft iron clad, karouchi finish and a very nice D shaped rosewood handle. Right handed. F&f is definitely above average. Here’s the specs …
