Looking to sell this nice Awasedo from Kizuyama, a rather unknown eastern mine. The stone is initially from JNS (kizuyama) but I am the second owner. The reason I’m selling it is because it is just too fine for my needs and I prefer a little coarser stones as finishers. The stone is smooth, fast and very pleasant to use. It raises black slurry almost instantly. Finish is pretty fine, just shy of a mirror polish with nice contrast and detail. I didn’t test the edges off it but I assume they should be quite refined.
Measurements are basically identical to when it was new (205x80x28), the original owner did’t use it a lot, neither did I. The bottom is a bit uneven but the stone sits steadily on the bench. All lines are non toxic.
I would like to get back what I payed for so I’m asking 350€ (≈ 415$) shipped in Europe, for international I will cover the first 15$.
If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, feel free to drop me a line.
