Jedy. What a great guy! I bought my first knife (a Suji) from him, at a great price, and I love that Kagekiyo! In fact, I went back in my "Conversations" to last year, and I found a PM I wrote to him about that buy. It said,
"Got that suji today, perfect, just what I was looking for. thanks for making that easy, it really adds to the buying experience of a new blade. Keep it up!Have a great weekend,"
I don't know Jedy, other than he's a great contributor to this site. 2400 posts! I know he fair, shares knowledge and product, and I note his posts as positive and interesting. He's one of "us", meaning the type of person I gravitate towards because of his positivity.
I recently learned he was ripped off, I think for $400. I've been ripped off for more than that (theft on my property), but I was livid when I heard Jedy got scammed. WTF?? I don't even know this guy??
But I recalled the feeling. Though I won't be fortunate enough to meet the rat ******* thief in person, I can extend a hand to Jedy, and show support that says "THAT SUCKS, and we care brother!"
I hope you KKF guys and gals jump in and help make a difference by making up the difference, and in a way, counteract all the bad #### that goes on these days.
Please PM Jedy for his email, (he doesn't know about this) and ship him a contribution if you can. I just did: PP $20. (I don't want to post his email without permission, which he'd likely deny anyway).
I send that counterbalance, and a thought: You didn't lose, the rat ******* did.
