I'm subletting an apartment for the summer and the owner has a knife that I love. He doesn't remember where he got it, but I'm hoping one of your sleuths will be able to identify it!

The maker is masutani. Fantastic knives for the price. I gifted one to my mother for her birthday last year. They make knives in the smaller size range, great for home cooks and smaller apartment kitchens. They are ground nice and thin so they can chip pretty easily if misused.
