Not better just didn't get to this, since I've used different Kochi before so I know how good these are. Just prefer one with machi. Anyway had to try other knives, so never got to this one.

See how the neck is taller, almost the height of the handle. Makes it more comfortable to hold and just looks better to me.

Kochi an excellent workhorse, I have the stainless clad white 2 version, prep monster. Can handle tougher tasks my other lasers can’t.
