Hey KKF,

Just wrapped up my latest project knife and I would like to find another either via sale or trade. Looking for a Raquin in 145sc.

I have modified the profile and shortened the height by 3 mm while also eliminating a flat spot near the heel that kinda halted the cutting motion. I have added some more convexity near the heel and refinished the bevels. So it’s more workhorse in the back and laser upfront.

Asking $900 shipped conus

Notes: Balance right at pinch grip
Size: 240 x 57 mm
Spine at heel: 4.5 mm
Weight: 253 grams
Steel: Apexultra/wrought iron nickel
Finish: Nashiji, stone finished bevel
Handle: Wa take down in two tone Blackwood
Geometry: Slight convex
Condition: modified/refinished

I think it’s African Blackwood but I agree it’s nice!
After googling, I now see the distinction. I always thought blackwood/mpingo and Gabon ebony were the same. Different genera.
