Hey yall, up for sale today is a nice, harder/finer example of Maruoyama Ao Suita. This stone self slurries and has a nice, firm base which allows nice mud breakdown. It works well with higher alloy steels like Aogami and stainless as well as simpler carbons. Finish is brighter overall than a lot of other Maruo Suitas I've owned in the past. It's a nice sized, thick stone that will last for years and years!
Kasumi is bright with nice contrast and will bring out details in cladding if worked correctly. Edges are polished nicely with great tooth/bite.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
