Meat cleaver in Japan

I am going to Osaka and Kyoto soon and plan to stop in Sakai (see here: https://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/...nce-in-sakai-city-or-surrounding-areas.71874/ )

I'm traveling with a friend and I just asked what type of knife she is interested in. She said she wanted a meat cleaver so she can chop up rotisserie chicken. AFAIK meat cleavers aren't really a thing in Japan, especially with the hard steels used. Any chance of finding a Japanese-made meat cleaver in Osaka or Kyoto? Budget is probably $100 or less. Otherwise she's ok with looking for a deba to fillet fish instead (I told her to watch youtube videos so she will know how to use one).

Probably just something like this Masahiro cleaver, very utilitarian and works, they have Carbon or stainless, most other brands will have something like this in softer steel (compare to other Japanese knives)

Yes that's the kind of cleaver she is looking for. So I guess we can find something there if that's what she wants.

Any of the large cutlery shops will have a few meat/bone cleavers of that style.
